In order to upkeep the College’s programmes at a high quality standard, QAO reviews and updates the quality assurance system to render it both efficient and effective. QAO offers timely support and advice to academic and administration units regarding programme accreditation, re-accreditation, and other quality assurance activities. Furthermore, training and briefing sessions to disseminate good practices are provided for all academic and non-academic staff with a view to cultivating a sense of ownership in quality assurance and promoting the culture of continuous quality enhancement within the College. QAO also arranges appropriate training to equip teaching staff with the necessary skills on teaching at tertiary level and to build up their capability in mastering outcome-based model as their teaching pedagogy.

 

All matters pertaining the College’s academic quality assurance is summarised in the Quality Assurance Manual (requiring staff login). The College pledges to work in compliance with the Manual and keeps refining the system. QAO will review the College’s guidelines and procedures continuously to ensure their efficient and effective operations are keeping abreast with the development of the College.
