Message From Head of Students

Welcome again to Tung Wah College, and to join us for a learning experience that is not like any others!

As a new self-financing tertiary institution, we are committed to helping you learn beyond limits and develop your all-rounded potential. We have put together for you substantial co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, and a rich college life. We are hoping to help you develop the kinds of whole-person capability, dynamic quality and a caring attitude required to meet the fast-changing skill requirements of a knowledge-based economy, and to become a socially responsible person.

Notably, through our Co-op Education Scheme, you will have the chance to integrate classroom learning with real-world work experience. In addition to applying your academic knowledge and skills to a real-life job, you can develop interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and how to work as part of a team and to deal with stress and challenges. These are indeed very useful soft or life skills for both career and academic pursuits. You can also take part in our community service programme, getting to know and offering your support to those people in need.

I encourage you to participate actively, and wish you a fruitful, meaningful learning experience here.

Dr. Stephen Mann
