The Scientific Symposium on Emergency Medicine (SSEM), organized by Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine and supported by Hong Kong Society for Emergency Medicine and Surgery, Hong Kong College of Emergency Nursing and Hong Kong Emergency Nurses Association, will be held on 26 October 2019 (Saturday) at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building, Aberdeen, Hong Kong.

This annual scientific symposium aims to provide a platform for health care experts to exchange views, share experience and gain new insights in the practice of emergency medicine. This year, with the theme of “Extended Care in Emergency Medicine – Going the Extra Mile for Excellence”, the symposium will bring participants a collection of plenary sessions, symposia and workshops.
