Biography
Dr. Ben Yip is an experienced OT working with elderly and students with special educational needs. He attained his PhD degree in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2011.
 
Dr. Ben Yip has extensive experience in technology application in rehabilitation. His doctoral study was investigating the treatment effectiveness of combining artificial intelligence and virtual reality to people with brain injury. He had turned himself into an entrepreneur and medical device manufacturer. He is familiar R&D, production process, marketing and regulatory requirement of medical devices manufacturing.
 
Dr. Ben Yip is an active advocate in the development and promotion of occupational therapy in Mainland China. He is now the youth editor of a CSCD journal, Rehabilitation Medicine and Board Member of Hong Kong Institute of Occupational Therapy.
 
Dr. Ben Yip’s teaching and research interest include cognitive rehabilitation, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, robotics and electromyography application in rehabilitation.
