Scholarships and Financial Assistance

Government Student Financial Assistance
Student Finance Office – Financial Assistance Schemes
The Student Finance Office (SFO) under the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency (WFSFAA) provides a number of financial assistance schemes to needy students. Eligible students may apply for the following schemes to finance their tuition fees and living expenses:
 
Students who would like apply for the above schemes may submit an online application through the "SFO E-link – My Applications" platform. Below are some important information for your application:
  1. Deadline for Submission of Online Application:
    FASP
    NLSPS
  2. The NLSPS is used to complement the FASP to provide loans to eligible students to settle tuition fees. Therefore, eligible students may apply for the FASP and the NLSPS simultaneously.
  3. Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS): For students who would like to apply for the ENLS, please complete the ENLS application form and submit your completed application before the stipulated deadline in person to the SFO after completing the online NLSPS application. For details of the ENLS, please refer to SFO’s website.

Continuing Education Fund (CEF)
The Continuing Education Fund (CEF) subsidizes adults with learning aspirations to pursue continuing education and training. For details, please click here.


Deferral of Tuition Fee Payment (For Current Students)
For current students who have applied for government financial assistance or have financial difficulties in settling the tuition fee before the payment due date, they may apply to defer the payment of tuition fee via the following link:
 


Scholarships and Bursaries
Through the generous support from TWGHs, private organizations, professional bodies, firms and individuals, numerous scholarships and bursaries are set up to reward students who have achieved outstanding academic / non-academic performance and assist students with financial difficulties. Students will be awarded scholarships through nomination or open application.
