Application for Refund of Deposit
Application for Refund of Deposit (2022/2023 Entry)EligibilityApplication for refund of deposit (with HK$500 administration fee deducted) will be processed only if:
CriterionDeadline for submission of application for refund and documentary proofs-
Applicants cannot fulfil the admission requirement(s) of the respective programme; OR

Applicants can present official documents / payment receipts confirming the admission to a degree programme funded by University Grants Committee (UGC) or under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP)

For applicants with JUPAS Main Round offer: noon, 12 August 2022

For applicants with JUPAS Clearing Round offer: noon, 31 August 2022

For applicants who are offered a UGC-funded or SSSDP degree programme after JUPAS Clearing Round or through non-JUPAS channels: 3 working days after acceptance / confirmation of the offer
Procedures
- Download and complete the application form for refund of deposit.
- Get the documentary proofs* ready (examples of documents are listed below):
*For admission to a UGC-funded or SSSDP degree programme through JUPAS:
- Offer notification issued by JUPAS Office showing the name of applicant (sub-degree programmes and self-financing programmes will NOT be accepted)
- Receipt of acceptance fee paid to JUPAS Office
*For admission to a UGC-funded or SSSDP degree programme through non-JUPAS channels:
- Notice of offer (e.g. letter or email showing the offer is confirmed or condition(s) is/are met
- Payment record of tuition fee / deposit
*For not fulfilling the admission requirement(s):
- HKDSE results slip
- HKDSE Re-checking and Remarking result
- Proof of student enrolment status of the programme which could not be completed as required (e.g. testimonial)
- Send the completed application form along with the document proofs to the Registry (applytwc@twc.edu.hk) with “Application for Refund of Deposit” and the 8-digit application number as the email subject on or before the stipulated deadline.
Remarks
Applications received after the stipulated deadline will NOT be entertained.
