Application for Refund of Deposit
Application for Refund of Deposit (2026/2027 Entry)EligibilityApplication for refund of deposit from TWC (with HK$500 administration fee deducted) will be processed only if:Criterion Deadline for submission of application for refund and documentary proofs 1. Cannot fulfil the admission requirement(s) of the respective programme; OR 31 August 2026 2. Offered a degree programme funded by UGC or under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP) - For applicants with JUPAS Main Round offer: noon, 7 August 2026
- For applicants with JUPAS Rechecking and Remarking Round offer: noon, 24 Aug 2026
- For applicants with JUPAS Clearing Round offer: noon, 27 August 2026
- For applicants who are offered a UGC-funded or SSSDP degree programme after JUPAS Clearing Round or through non-JUPAS channels: within 3 working days after paying the deposit of UGC-funded or SSSDP degree offer
Procedures1. Log in to your TWC Admission System account. Click "Apply for Refund".2. Get the supporting documents / documentary proof(s)* ready (examples of documents are listed below):* Copy of your bank card (for refund processing).* For admission to a UGC-funded or SSSDP degree programme through JUPAS:
i) Offer notification issued by JUPAS Office showing the name of applicant (sub-degree programmes and self-financing programmes will NOT be accepted); and
ii) Receipt of acceptance fee paid to JUPAS Office
* For admission to a UGC-funded or SSSDP degree programme through non-JUPAS channels:
i) Offer letter of UGC-funded or SSSDP degree programme; and
ii) Proof of deposit payment
*For not fulfilling the admission requirement(s):
i) HKDSE results slip;
ii) HKDSE Re-checking and Remarking result; or
iii) Proof of student enrolment status of the programme which could not be completed as required (e.g. testimonial)
3. Complete and submit the application form according to the instructions provided within the form.
RemarksApplications without the required documentary proofs or received after the stipulated deadline will NOT be entertained.
