TWC Foundation

Tung Wah College Foundation (TWC Foundation)

We have set up TWC Foundation in 2017, aiming to acknowledge donations by individuals, corporations and organisations, as well as to deepen the connection with philanthropists and supporters who share the same beliefs with the college.

Goals

1. To encourage members of the community, industry and corporation to invest in TWC’s pursuit of excellence in higher education

2. To enhance the quality of teaching and learning

3. To developing a research culture with a focus on applied research and strengthen the College’s research capability

4. To improve the learning environment and campus facilities

5. To support various initiatives for TWC development

6. To realise the College’s vision that TWC can gain a wide recognition and support from the community and be developed to be a private university well known for quality education

Management of TWC Foundation

The Foundation is governed by the Foundation Governing Committee (FGC) which is set up under the College Council. The Foundation’s fundraising activities and membership matters are monitored by the FGC; while its administration and account are under College’s management, in accordance with donor’s interest.

Membership

We sincerely welcome individuals, corporations and organisations to become members of the Foundation. Membership of the Foundation is for life and donations are cumulative. Donors who have made accumulative amount over HK$20,000 since TWC’s incorporation in March 2010 shall be honoured as a member. The membership categories are as follows:

Members of the Foundation may enjoy the following privileges:

A Certificate of Appreciation issued by the Foundation
Due acknowledgement on the official website and publications of the College
Invitations to the Foundations’ gatherings
Regular news from TWC and the Foundation
Invitations to official events and ceremonies organised by TWC
Members of certain categories will have their names inscribed on a commemorative Donors’ Plaque to be displayed prominently on the College’s campus
Other privileges and benefits offered by TWC to members
