Honour with Books and Love-a-Chair Programmes

Education is a valuable investment not only for individuals but also for the whole community. Tung Wah College (TWC) is committed to providing quality education to nurture our youngsters to be socially responsible and caring professionals for the benefit of our community. Being a young self-financing tertiary education institution with limited resources, TWC must acquire donations to support its operation, sustain its development and achieve its mission. TWC would like to appeal for your support to our “Honours with Books” and “Love-a-Chair” programmes.

Honours with Books

The “Honours with Books” Programme provides a meaningful way to pay tribute to a special person. The honouree will be remembered for years to come as a special bookplate will be affixed in a library book, viewable by any student, staff member or visiting scholar who reads the book. With a donation of $1,000, the Library will affix a bookplate to a book from your preferred subject area.

Love-a-Chair

You may sponsor the Programme by donating a chair/ chairs in one of the lecture theatres at King’s Park or Mongkok Campus. To acknowledge your donation, a nameplate will be affixed at the back of a chair/ chairs in the lecture theatre to be allocated by the College.

Acknowledgement

Remarks

1. Acknowledgement will be expired upon disposal of the book(s) and chair(s) in the lecture theatre.
2. Administrative costs will not be deducted from the donations.
3. TWC reserves the right of the final decision on the design of the bookplates and the nameplates.
