Information for New Students (2022/23 Entry)
Vaccine Pass Requirement
Students should have received 3 doses of vaccine for campus access. The implemenation is as follows:
For students in general Received 3rd dose of vaccine; or
Received 2nd dose but within 6 months from 2nd doseFor students who have recovered from COVID-19 and received 2nd or 3rd dose before infection No additional dose is required up till the end of the validity exemption period as specified by the Department of Health (DH) For students who are unsuitable for vaccination due to health reasons and have obtained a valid exemption certificate issued by DH or a medical doctor Submit negative result* of COVID-19 test every 3 days to https://www.twc.edu.hk/vtrs/

Classes for Semester 1 will start on 5 September 2022.
Arrangements for Learning and Teaching (Semester 1, 2022/23)
Face-to-face teaching will be resumed in Semester 1, 2022/23. Students should follow arrangements as announced by individual course teachers.
Course Registration (Semester 1, 2022/23)
All core/ required courses are normally pre-registered for students. Students can view their personal timetable through PowerCAMPUS Self-Service starting from 24 August 2022.
Course Registration starts at
- 9:00 am, 29 August 2022 (for Senior Year Entry students of Degree programmes & Year 1 Entry students of Higher Diploma programmes)
- 9:00 am, 31 August 2022 (for Year 1 Entry students of Degree programmes)
English Enhancement Programme
The College has implemented the English Enhancement Programme with the aim to help new students to enhance their English. The details of the Programme are as follows:
- Students who enter TWC with DSE English Level 2 will be required to take two enhancement courses (i.e. ENG0100 English Enhancement Course 1 and ENG0200 English Enhancement Course 2) before they take ENG1001 Developing English Language Skills.
- Students who enter TWC with DSE English Level 3 will be required to take one enhancement course (i.e. ENG0200 English Enhancement Course 2) before they take ENG1001 Developing English Language Skills.
- The enhancement courses will be optional for those with DSE English Level 4 or above (or those who have completed an academic programme with a QF level higher than HKDSE, e.g. Associate Degree/Higher Diploma) and they may take ENG1001 Developing English Language Skills directly.

Student ID card
Your student ID card will be ready for collection after 1 September 2022 and you will receive an email notification. Please come to Registry (8/F, KPC) to collect your student ID card after you have received the email notification.
Credit Transfer/ Course Exemption
For students who have attained post-secondary academic qualifications prior to admission, they may apply for credit transfer/ course exemption before the end of the add/drop period of the first semester of their first year of study.
