Action Checklist
To help you prepare for your studies at the College, the timeline below outlines the key events and action items that new students are required to complete before the commencement of the first semester of their programme of study.

Students who have completed programme registration before 24 August 2026 may collect their Student ID cards on the above dates.
Separate arrangement will be made for students who have completed programme registration on and after 24 August 2026. -

English Enhancement Programme
The College has implemented the English Enhancement Programme with the aim to help new students to enhance their English. The details of the Programme are as follows:
For students admitted before AY2025/2026:
- Students who enter TWC with DSE English Level 2 will be required to pass two enhancement courses (i.e. ENG0100 English Enhancement Course 1 and ENG0200 English Enhancement Course 2) before they take ENG1001 Developing English Language Skills.
- Students who enter TWC with DSE English Level 3 will be required to pass one enhancement course (i.e. ENG0200 English Enhancement Course 2) before they take ENG1001 Developing English Language Skills.
- The enhancement courses will be optional for those with DSE English Level 4 or above (or those who have completed an academic programme with a QF level higher than HKDSE, e.g. Associate Degree/Higher Diploma) and they may take ENG1001 Developing English Language Skills directly.
For students admitted in or after AY2025/2026:
Standard Entrants
(i.e. those who have met the minimum English admission requirements)
Non-standard Entrants
(i.e. those who do not meet the minimum English admission requirements)
Bachelor’s Degree
First Year Entry
Do not need to take ENG0100 and/or ENG0200 Required to take ENG0100 and ENG0200 before taking ENG1001 Bachelor’s Degree
Senior Year Entry
Do not need to take extra English language courses Required to take ENG1001 and ENG2006 Higher Diploma (For non-local entrants only)
If Gaokao/JEE ENG score is 80 – 99:
required to take ENG0100 and ENG0200 before taking ENG1001
(For other standard entrants)
Do not need to take ENG0100 and/or ENG0200
