Course Registration (Semester 1, 2024/25)
All core/ required courses are normally pre-registered for students. Students can view their personal timetable through PowerCAMPUS Self-Service starting from 9 am, 26 August 2024.
Course Registration starts at
- 9:00 am, 28 August 2024 (for Year 1 Entry and Senior Year Entry students of Degree programmes & Year 1 Entry students of Higher Diploma programmes)
- 9:00 am, 30 August 2024 (for Year 1 Entry students of Degree programmes)
English Enhancement Programme
The College has implemented the English Enhancement Programme with the aim to help new students to enhance their English. The details of the Programme are as follows:
For students admitted in or before AY2024/2025:
- Students who enter TWC with DSE English Level 2 will be required to pass two enhancement courses (i.e. ENG0100 English Enhancement Course 1 and ENG0200 English Enhancement Course 2) before they take ENG1001 Developing English Language Skills.
- Students who enter TWC with DSE English Level 3 will be required to pass one enhancement course (i.e. ENG0200 English Enhancement Course 2) before they take ENG1001 Developing English Language Skills.
- The enhancement courses will be optional for those with DSE English Level 4 or above (or those who have completed an academic programme with a QF level higher than HKDSE, e.g. Associate Degree/Higher Diploma) and they may take ENG1001 Developing English Language Skills directly.
For students admitted in or after AY2025/2026:
Standard Entrants
(i.e. those who have met the minimum English admission requirements)
Non-standard Entrants
(i.e. those who do not meet the minimum English admission requirements)
Bachelor’s Degree
First Year Entry
Do not need to take ENG0100 and/or ENG0200 Required to take ENG0100 and ENG0200 Bachelor’s Degree
Senior Year Entry
Do not need to take extra English language courses Required to take ENG1001 and ENG2006 Higher Diploma (For non-local entrants only)
If Gaokao/JEE ENG score is 80 – 99:
required to take ENG0100 and ENG0200
(For other standard entrants)
Do not need to take ENG0100 and/or ENG0200
Required to take ENG0100 and ENG0200 PowerCAMPUS Self-Service
PowerCampus Self-Service is the online portal to PowerCampus (the Student Information System used by the College). You can acquire the following important information from the portal:

Student ID card
Your student ID card will be ready for collection on 30 August 2024 and you will receive an email notification nearer the time. The details for student ID card collection will be found in the email.
Credit Transfer/ Course Exemption
For students who have attained post-secondary academic qualifications prior to admission, they may apply for credit transfer/ course exemption before the end of the add/drop period of the first semester of their first year of study (i.e. on/before 13 September 2024).
