Biography
Professor Lawrence Lam is currently the Vice President (Academic) of Tung Wah College.  Before joining TWC, Professor Lam was a professor in the Faculty of Health and the Graduate School of Health at the University of Technology Sydney.

 

Professor Lam is a qualified epidemiologist, medical statistician and a research psychologist.  He has many years of experience in mental health research, prevention and early intervention.  He has worked in Children's Hospital at Westmead, Australia for over 15 years and specialized in the area of child and adolescent mental health and gradually expanding to mental health across life span.  He has also been involved in research in many areas including trauma and injury prevention, psychometrics, palliative medicine and aged care, particularly carers' mental health.
