Our Honorary Professor, Prof. Leung Ka Kui Carl, along with three academic staff members from the Forensic Biomedical Science program — Dr. Deejay Mak, an Assistant Professor, and part-time lecturers Ms. Kiki Wong and Ms. Nora Shum — were invited to serve as consultants for the “Forensic Hunter” Hong Kong Schools Forensics Competition 2025. This competition, funded by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, is the first of its kind in Hong Kong's academic community to integrate script design with forensic science knowledge.

On March 15^th, the award ceremony was held, officiated by Mr. Siu Chak-yee, the Commissioner of Police, who voiced his support for the participating primary and secondary school students. We also had the opportunity to visit Hong Kong's first forensic laboratory, established with funding from the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, which supports the annual "Forensic Hunter" inter-school forensic competition, promoting forensic science and evidence-based scientific principles.
