劉穎琳博士在香港理工大學取得物理治療學士和碩士學位,及於香港中文大學取得(矯形外科及創傷)哲學博士學位。 劉博士擁有肌肉骨骼物理治療,癌症康復,淋巴水腫治療和婦女健康等專科的豐富臨床經驗。期間亦完成有關針灸和手法治療訓練,更考取GYROTONIC® 1級教練和Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy 以及Dr. Vodder School淋巴水腫治療師認證

劉博士曾於中國內地及香港任教物理治療課程,主要教授肌肉骨骼物理治療的科目和負責臨床教學。她的教學理念著重幫助學生成為終身學習者,並引導他們以最佳臨床實踐為目標。 她曾獲頒多項教學獎,以肯定其在教學創新和領導的表現。
