The appointee will be required but not limited to:
- perform teaching duties;
- contribute to the implementation of the College and School’s strategic initiatives and development;
- participate in managing the academic affairs including programme development and validation exercises;
- take up responsibilities in academic and departmental administration;
- participate in promoting good teaching and innovative pedagogies;.
- liaise with external bodies and industry partners for job placements and professional development;
- perform academic activities including academic advising, examination and assessment, student recruitment (local and non-local), committee works, whole person development activities of students; and
- undertake professional service to external professional body / organization and provide services to engage community;
- liaise with potential funders and donors for supporting community-based projects with health and social impacts.
The appointee should have:
- a Master degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant discipline with extensive relevant experience and actively pursuing a Higher Research or a Doctoral Degree.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
