The appointee will be required to:
- handle tenders/quotation exercises to procure a wide range of goods and services for various user units;
- liaise with department users on preparation of purchase requisition, tender/ quotation specifications, evaluation, recommendation, etc.
- ensure the procurement process in compliance with the College’s regulations and procedures, and relevant applicable procedures;
- prepare price summaries, quotation reports, meeting minutes, tender board papers, PO, contracts, etc.;
- verify funding for the tender/quotation execution/award;
- perform supplier registration, updating supplier records, etc.;
- handle disposal of fixed assets and minor furniture and equipment; and
- handle any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Applicants should:
- possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in handling request for quotation and tender exercises, preferably gained in the tertiary education sector or public organizations;
- have abilities to perform multi-tasks and work independently with minimum supervision;
- possess good planning, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills;
- be well organized, detail minded, self-motivated with positive work attitude, and have good team spirit;
- have good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
- be proficient in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel) and Adobe.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
