The appointee will be responsible for supporting the ERP system implementation and management accounting functions of the College. Main duties of the post will include:
- To assist in leading the finance team for ERP system implementation and data conversion processes, ensuring the project is completed according to the scheduled timeline.
- To coordinate ERP enhancements to streamline operations and improve productivity of the Finance Office after system go-live.
- To support the Phase 2 implementation of the Student Fee Management System by analyzing and documenting business requirements, and validating the system blueprint, functional, and workflow design.
- To support system integration, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and data migration processes.
- To serve as the primary contact for the finance team and cross-functional teams, collaborating with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- To provide ongoing support to the finance team and end-users, ensuring successful adoption of the ERP system and continuous system enhancements.
- To support management accounting services for the College, assist the team implement automation processes to improve efficiency and ensure consistency in financial reporting.
- To complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Applicants should:
- Hold a recognized bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology (IT) or a related discipline.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably acquired in tertiary education institutions. Candidates with less experience may be considered if they possess a strong IT background.
- Demonstrate solid experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP, with advanced familiarity with Student Information System and financial reporting tools.
- Possess a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial systems and processes.
- Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility, be self-motivated, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
