The appointee will be required but not limited to:

1. Undertake committee work, include providing secretariat support to Committees;
2. Prepare policy papers, update guidelines and carry out general administrative duties of the office;
3. Administer research funding applications and monitor funded projects;
4. Coordinate research related activities including research seminars;
5. Prepare statistics, reports/ powerpoints and conduct data analysis;
6. Update website of the office;
7. Liaise with internal units and external organisations; and
8. Perform any other duties or special projects as assigned by the Head of Research Office.

Applicants should:

1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or above;
2. Have at least 3 years of relevant working experience at executive level, preferably gained in the education sector;
3. Have excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
4. Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills;
5. Being proactive, mature, ready to accept challenges and capable of multitasking;
6. Able to work independently under tight timelines; being attentive to details; have strong sense of responsibility and good analytical skills;
7. Be proficient in computer applications for performing administrative duties, preferably with knowledge on research grant management system.
