指定專業 / 界別課程資助計劃 (2026/2027)

(只提供英文版本)

Most of the places of the first year entry of the following eight degree programmes are subsidised by the government under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP).

Admission to the programme is on a competitive basis.  TWC considers an applicant's whole profile (including band choices, preferred subjects and interview performance, etc.).  Applicants may refer to the 2025 JUPAS Admission Scores Summary for reference.

Application Routes

Places are allocated mainly through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) in order to ensure eligible students are selected through a merit-based system. Starting from the 2023/24 academic year, Tung Wah College (TWC) is allowed to admit non-JUPAS local students via direct admission of no more than 20% Note 1 of the subsidised places of each designated programme, and the non-JUPAS admission may take place in parallel with JUPAS admission. For more information, please refer to https://www.cspe.edu.hk/en/sssdp/application.html.

Non-JUPAS applicants should submit their direct applications through the TWC Admission SystemNote 2.

Please take note of the following excerpts from the JUPAS website:

In accordance with the HKSAR Government’s policy, only applicants with valid documentation confirming they are LOCAL students at the time of submission of applications will be accepted.

LOCAL applicants who belong to the categories below with past and / or current HKDSE Examination results are eligible to apply via JUPAS for admission to the programmes listed here on the strength of their HKDSE Examination results, provided that they are NOT enrolled in full-time bachelor's degree programmes under JUPAS at the time they submit their JUPAS applications.

  1. LOCAL applicants with HKDSE Examination results only

All local applicants (school and non-school applicants) who wish to apply for admission to the listed programmes on the strength of their HKDSE Examination results MUST apply via JUPAS.

  2. LOCAL applicants with both HKDSE Examination AND other academic results

Local applicants with both HKDSE Examination AND other academic results, whose HKDSE Examination results ALONE will make them eligible for application for admission to the listed programmes can apply either via JUPAS or non-JUPAS, but NOT both.

Assessment of these local applicants applying via JUPAS will be based mainly on their HKDSE Examination results, while other factors will be considered by relevant institutions as appropriate.

Local applicants with both HKDSE Examination AND other academic results and whose HKDSE Examination results or other academic results ALONE would make them eligible for application for admission to the programmes under JUPAS can apply

  • EITHER: via JUPAS on the strength of their HKDSE Examination results
  • OR: via non-JUPAS on the strength of their other academic results.

These applicants, however, CANNOT apply for admission via BOTH JUPAS and non-JUPAS to ANY programmes under JUPAS in the same academic year, regardless of whether the programmes are selected in their “My CONFIRMED Programme Choices”. They MUST cancel either their JUPAS or non-JUPAS applications before they can proceed further.

Note 1: The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Gerontology and Bachelor of Health Information and Services Management (Honours) programmes have been selected for the Education Bureau’s Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes. Approval has been granted for these two programmes to admit non-JUPAS local applicants via direct admission of no more than 30% of the subsidised places of this programme to study their First Year Entry.

Note 2: Exact date to be announced

Note 3: Following the Government's announcement on 31 July 2025 regarding the revised eligibility criteria for government-subsidised post-secondary student places and subsidies, the new arrangements will take effect from the 2027/28 academic year (with the application cycle commencing in October 2026). Students will be required to pay the non-subsidised tuition fees if they do not meet the updated eligibility criteria for government subsidies.
