- Students improve their problem-solving skills in Health Information and Services Management by analysing real-life cases.
- Students enhance their skills in communication and team-building and collaboration with cross-sectoral professional teams, and also their ability to address management challenges in healthcare operations and development by exercising professionals skills and a customer-oriented approach.
Programme Objectives- To develop students’ capacity in applying knowledge and applied skills regarding Health Information Management with reference to the competency frameworks of international professional associations for Health Information Management
- To develop students’ capacity in applying knowledge and applied skills regarding Health Services Management with reference to the competency frameworks of international professional associations for Health Services Management
- To equip students with the practical knowledge in creating, assessing, measuring and evaluating impacts of biological and clinical information relevant to health information and services management issues
- To develop students’ understanding of the healthcare system in Hong Kong and the operation of common healthcare facilities in relation to Health Services Management and Health Information Management
- To equip students with effective communication, and coalition- and team-building skills
- To provide students with a holistic General Education (GE) curriculum, so as to equip them with the competencies demanded in the twenty-first century and to nurture them to become active, caring and socially responsible citizens

Applicants with previous HKDSE subject result of A040 ‘Liberal Studies’ will be used as the alternative of the core subject requirement of A045 ‘Citizenship and Social Development’.

The above tuition fee is net of annual subsidy under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP). In 2026/2027 academic year, the annual subsidy under the SSSDP is $51,880 for non-laboratory-based undergraduate applied degree programmes. The annual subsidy amount may vary in each academic year subject to the announcement by the Education Bureau. For details, please visit http://www.cspe.edu.hk/sssdp.
Following the Government's announcement on 31 July 2025 regarding the revised eligibility criteria for government-subsidised post-secondary student places and subsidies, the new arrangements will take effect from the 2027/28 academic year (with the application cycle commencing in October 2026). Students will be required to pay the non-subsidised tuition fees if they do not meet the updated eligibility criteria for government subsidies.
