On May 30, 2026, the School of Medical and Health Sciences of Tung Wah College supported a multi-disciplinary mobile clinic in Kowloon City District organised by the Elderly Healthcare Foundation, the Hong Kong Association of Lady Horse Lovers, and the Kowloon City District Resident Association.

During the event, more than 30 professionals, including medical specialists in general surgery, respiratory medicine, orthopaedics, pain medicine, urology, nephrology, dentistry, neurology, geriatric, breast surgery, rheumatology, as well as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, Chinese medicine practitioners, chiropractors, and nurses, provided care to over 400 elderly individuals in need.

Students from Tung Wah College’s departments of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medical laboratory science, and nursing supported these professionals by assisting during the consultation and treatment sessions. This experience allowed them to learn how different professionals collaborate in community services and enriched their understanding of interdisciplinary teamwork in healthcare.
