OT CPD: OT Practices in Patients with COPD
18/01/2025

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a common lung disease in geriatrics that causes breathing difficulties due to damaged lung function. This chronic disease significantly impacts many patients' functioning in activities of daily living. On January 18, 2025, the TWC-OT Team invited Ms. Wai Yee Cherry LAU, Senior Occupational Therapist to deliver a half-day CPD workshop aimed at empowering occupational therapists with practical skills and providing the latest knowledge on managing COPD patients. There were 100 participants in attendance at the workshop. The workshop covered assessment techniques, intervention strategies, and case sharing. The average rating of the learning experience was 4.4/5.
