The Health Care and Promotion Scheme (HCPS) provides funding support to evidence-based health promotion projects that help people adopt healthier lifestyles by enhancing awareness, changing adverse health behaviours or creating a conducive environment that supports good health practices. Collaborations between tertiary institutions and community organisations are highly encouraged to generate new evidence-based practice which can be applied in our local community.
The Health Care and Promotion Scheme – 2018 Briefing cum Grant Skills Training Workshop (the Workshop) is organised to facilitate potential applicants to complete the applications and to encourage health promotion partners to exchange tips on developing proposals. The Workshop will introduce the scope, thematic priorities and assessment criteria of the HCPS. The small group discussion covered in the Workshop aims at enhancing participants’ skills in writing grant proposals.
