You are cordially invited to participate in the Discussion Forum for Strategic Planning for the Research Matching Fund, organized by the Research Office and lead by Vice President (Academic), Prof. Lawrence Lam.

As you may know, the University Grants Committee is going to implement the Research Matching Fund Scheme for a period of 3 years. The scheme will cover the eight UGC-funded universities and 12 local self-financing degree-awarding institutions including Tung Wah College.

Over the three-year operation period of the Scheme, donations and research grants/contracts from non-government/ non-public sectors will be eligible for matching.

The Forum aims to gather academic staff to brainstorm ideas of large-scale or institution-wise research projects / research-related activities to attract private donations and seek for the Government matching grants.
