The 1^st Global Festival organised by the Student Affairs Office (SAO) was held on 24 February to promote students’ intercultural experience and allow them to develop a global perspective.

During the opening ceremony, Professor Sally Chan, President of TWC, Mr Simon Lau, Head of SAO and 3 Global Student Ambassadors inaugurated the festival by “lighting up the earth”. Under the theme “Globally Local”, Professor Chan remarked that we could gain global experiences at our local context.

A total of 150 students and staff enjoyed a joyful afternoon and experienced "Globally Local" at 10 booths that offered games about global topics, different countries’ delicacies, and DIY artworks, etc. Additionally, four students showcased their talents through "TWC's Got Global Talent" and spread happiness around the campus through music.
