Four TWC Scholars have been listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists published in 2023 by Stanford University in the US.  To mark another year of TWC’s outstanding achievements, Professor Sally Chan, President of TWC, Professor David Man, Vice President (Academic), Professor Lorna Suen, Dean and Professor of School of Nursing, and Professor Simon Lam, Associate Dean (Research) and Professor of School of Nursing, have been on the prestigious list once again.

TWC scholars have achieved remarkable accomplishments in their respective academic fields. In the field of “Nursing”, Professor Sally Chan ranks 97th in the world, which is the highest among nursing scholars in Hong Kong. Additionally, Professor David Man and Professor Lorna Suen rank second and third in Hong Kong in the fields of “Rehabilitation” and “Complementary & Alternative Medicine” respectively.

The list included world’s top 100,000 scientists based on various indicators including the numbers of citations in their respective research areas.

Congratulations to our four Professors! These recognitions not only underscore the research excellence of the College’s scientists but also demonstrate the significant strides the College is making in advancing research.
