On August 17 at the Sha Tin Town Hall Exhibition Gallery, Professor Suen, Dean of Tung Wah College of Nursing, together with Dr. Chow- our faculty Assistant Professor and event coordinator- along with our faculty members and 21 nursing students for the “Playground Carnival” co-hosted by our college and the Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation. The event showcased the outcomes of the “Joyful Journeys： Art, Music & Play” project, including “Hearts in Art,” “Harmony in Joy,” and “Good Mood Serenity Garden.” Funded by the Commission on the Children’s Affairs, the “Joyful Journeys: Art, Music & Play” is a project combining art, music , and play to raise social awareness and foster inclusion for children with special educational needs (SEN) and ethnic minority groups, while also providing psychological and emotional support to their families.

Special thanks to Professor Suen for the inspiring speech, to Dr. Chow for the excellent coordination and Dr Chow and Ms Kwan for delivering the health talk! This event successfully promoted social inclusion and understanding and brought greater attention to children with SEN.
