Job duties:
Interns are mainly deployed to:
(a) provide support in briefings and other publicity activities and conducting liaison work for the promotion of the Working Family Allowance (FA) Scheme;
(b) conduct outreaching services in different districts to promote the WFA Scheme to target beneficiaries;
(c) assist in handling general enquiries about the WFA scheme and the application arrangement;
(d) assist in production of publicity and promotional materials;
(e) assist in liaison with the non-governmental organisations concerned on the provision of form-filling support services for new WFA applicants; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirement:
Applicants must –
(a) be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(b) be enrolled in full-time courses of locally or overseas (Hong Kong students) accredited post-secondary institutions;
(c) have completed the first or the second year of study;
(d) preferably majored in social work/social science or related disciplines;
(e) obtained Level 3 or above in both Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or equivalent;
(f) proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage); and
(g) proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
Duration:
Mid June to Mid August 2018 (2 months)
Work location:
Office in Kwun Tong; Outreaching services in different districts
Remuneration:
HK$9,800 per month
Application Procedure:
