Strategic Pillar 5: Future Leadership

As a higher education institution on track to becoming a university, the College places talent cultivation at the heart of our mission, aiming to transform talent into future leaders who will shape communities, industries and society at large.

We aspire our graduates as competent leaders grounded in empathy and a human-centred approach, driving positive changes for the betterment of society.

Also, we aim to develop our staff as leaders who advance educational quality and foster transformative learning experiences.

Strategic objectives

  1. Nurture critical thinking, problem solving, innovation and life-long learning skills in students

In a rapidly changing world, success depends not only on knowledge acquisition, but also on the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and innovate with creativity and purpose, as well as life-long learning. At the College, capabilities lie at the core of our educational mission, ensuring that graduates are prepared to adapt, lead and grow.

  2. Cultivate human-centred leadership, responsibility, and commitment to community service in students

The College values human impact. We aim to nurture human-centred leaders who combine competence with compassion, ensuring that their decisions and actions contribute positively to communities. Through our educational approach, we seek to inspire students to lead with empathy, equity, and a strong commitment to serving society.

  3. Support continuous staff development to cultivate leaders in higher education

The strength of any higher education institution lies in the quality, vision and leadership of its staff. At the College, we recognise that empowering our staff through continuous development is essential to achieving teaching excellence and shaping the future of higher education. This objective focuses on cultivating staff as leaders who deliver applied education, inspire innovation and uphold academic integrity. Through this objective, we strive to strengthen the College’s capacity in delivering transformative education, ensuring that our students benefit from a dynamic, future-ready learning environment.
