Professor Sally Chan, President of TWC, received the Australian Consul-General‘s Outstanding Alumni Award presented by the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) in Hong Kong. Professor Chan received the awards from Mr. Gareth Williams, Australian Consul-General to Hong Kong and Macau, at the awards ceremony held on 7 June 2024 at Conrad Hotel.

This award is sponsored by Australian Consulate General Hong Kong and is designed to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of alumni of Australian universities and to highlight their positive impact on business and society.

Professor Chan received her Bachelor of Health Science from the Charles Sturt University and was the Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery of University of Newcastle (UON) in Australia from 2014 to 2019. She was the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Singapore) and Chief Executive Officer of UON Singapore between 2019 and 2020.
