Biography:
Adams Hei Long Yuen is a registered therapeutic radiographer and animal imaging researcher. He holds a bachelor's degree in radiation therapy and furthered his studies in the Master of Medical Sciences (Medical Physics in Oncology and Medical Imaging). Before joining Tung Wah College, he practiced as an advanced practice radiation therapist in local hospital and has more than 7 years of clinical experience. In 2025, Adams was awarded the fellowship of the Hong Kong College of Radiographers and Radiation Therapists (FHKCRRT) in recognition of his excellent performance in Medical Dosimetry.

Adams' other interest include veterinary imaging, aquatic animal medicine and cetology. He began his first veterinary imaging research on Chinese white dolphins and finless porpoises in 2013. In 2019, Adams was invited as visiting scholar in the College of Veterinary Medicine, Seoul National University (KR) and Kangwon National University (KR). He utilises his experience in medical imaging to set up the pioneer stranded marine animals imaging program in South Korea.

Research Interests:
- Advanced Radiation Therapy Techniques
- Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy
- Cetacean post-mortem imaging
- Aquatic animals imaging

Academic and Professional Qualifications:
MMedSc (2019), The University of Hong Kong
BMedSc (Hon) in Radiation therapy (2017), Tung Wah College
