Biography:

Mr. Albert LI had worked for Department of Pathology of Hong Kong East Cluster of Hospital Authority as Department Manager before joining the College. He is currently the Honorary Adviser of Hong Kong East Cluster Pathology Service.

Mr. Albert LI actively engaged himself in professional activities. He was the former member of various Committees of Medical Laboratory Technologists Board such as Examination Committee, Standards of Practice and Conduct Committee and Registration Committee.

He has been the Chairman of Hong Kong Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences Ltd. Quality Assurance Programme since 2013. His research interests are in gynaecological malignancies especially in epigenetic alterations of gene expression involved in gestational trophoblastic disease and ovarian carcinogenesis and clinico-pathological and molecular biological study of cervical cytology for cervical cancer screening.
