Biography
Dr. Angus Lam is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Medical and Health Sciences at Tung Wah College. Prior to joining the College, he completed his tenure as a Lecturer at Western Sydney University in Australia.

Dr. Lam is a registered Occupational Therapist and Social Worker in Hong Kong. Before transitioning to academia, he accumulated over 15 years of professional experience across various non-governmental organizations and the Occupational Therapy Department of the Hospital Authority in Hong Kong. He also brings more than 15 years of academic experience from institutions in both Hong Kong and Australia.

With a strong clinical background in mental health rehabilitation, Dr. Lam specializes in psychotherapy for common mental disorders and psychosis. In addition to his expertise in mental health, he has received advanced professional training in sex therapy. His research interests include mental well-being in the general population and adolescents, as well as the sexuality of individuals with intellectual disabilities. His work has been published in numerous internationally indexed journals and presented at global conferences.
