Biography
Prof. Ellie Chu is a Professor in the School of Medical and Health Sciences, Tung Wah College. She has over 10 years of teaching and research experiences at Tung Wah College. Her research mainly focuses on investigating the efficacy and therapeutic mechanisms of Photodynamic Therapy in different cancer models including nasopharyngeal carcinoma, gynaecological cancers and colon cancer through various advanced laboratory techniques. Currently, she is also applied a computer-aided system for cancer characterization and classification on histopathological slides.
