She was won the Outstanding Staff Award in Hospital Authority in 2017. Serena was the Centre Head of the Hospital Authority Community Rehabilitation Centre before leaving the service in 2022Serena has been working with forward-looking and innovative thinking in applying evidence-based advanced technologies, participated in a number of studies and helped in promoting and introducing important rehabilitation services by the Hospital Authority including brain-computer interface in cognitive rehab, tailor-made Virtual Reality in therapeutic training, the application of Occupational Lifestyle Redesign Program to stroke patients and extended spectrums to primary care, chronic disease as well as mental health.
