Professor Lorna Suen, Dean of the School of Nursing at Tung Wah College is inducted into 2023 International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing for her distinguished accomplishments in improving the nursing profession. Following the induction into the 2022 Class of Fellows of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), Professor Suen once again received international recognition for her impactful research. Currently, there are 5 scholars from Hong Kong who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, and two of whom are from TWC namely Professor Lorna Suen and Professor Sally Chan, President of TWC, who has received this recognition since 2013.

Established in 2010, the Hall of Fame recognises nurse researchers who have achieved significant and sustained international acclaim for influencing the nursing profession and the people it serves. This year, 22 world-renowned nurse researchers will be inducted into the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame during the organization’s 34th International Nursing Research Congress in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in July.
