Biography
Dr. Wilson Leung obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and continued his PhD studies in Anatomical and Cellular Pathology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2020, he has also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in e-Health Informatics, with a research focus on mobile health apps use among older people. Meanwhile, he is an elderly fitness and outdoor fitness instructor recognized by the Physical Fitness Association of Hong Kong, China, and has also currently completed a Master degree in Sports Science.
 
Besides basic science research, he is interested in multidisciplinary research areas mainly related to geriatric musculoskeletal conditions and movement patterns (physical activity and sedentary behavior) as well as chronic disease development (obesity, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and liver cancer).
