Dear Students,

 

2020 UBC Vancouver Summer Program (VSP)

We are pleased to introduce you with the above exchange opportunity offered by University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada to be held in this summer.

UBC is a world-renowned institution consistently ranked among the top 40 research universities in the world. The VSP is a 4-week academic program where students will be studying 2 academic courses taught by members of the UBC faculty. Students will have the opportunity to participate in guided laboratory exercises, socio-cultural activities on campus, and explore the city of Vancouver.

In 2020, the Vancouver Summer Program offers two four-week programs:

 

Cost: $5,250 CAD (includes: Course materials and tuition for two courses, shared accommodation on UBC campus, medical insurance, transportation by shuttle bus to and from airport, Vancouver city tour, orientation and farewell events, social activities)

 

June 6 – July 6, 2020

  • Several course packages in a range of disciplines
  • Registration Deadline: March 2, 2020 (Mon)
  • Students can apply online for this session starting November 18, 2019. All students, including those attending VSP as part of a group, can apply online through this link
 

July 11 – August 11, 2020

  • Over 70 course packages in a range of disciplines
  • Registration Deadline:  March 30, 2020 (Mon)
  • Students can apply online for the session starting November 18, 2019. All students, including those attending VSP as part of a group, can apply online through this link
 
**Eligible Students may also apply for the financial support scheme: Subsidy on Exchange for Post-secondary Students (SSE). The maximum amount of sponsorship is $19,000. You may click here for more details. Please note that applications for programme sponsorship are processed on a first-come-first served basis, subject to availability of funds. In the event that SSE no longer has funds available, the application will not be approved regardless of whether the applicant fulfils the eligibility requirements for claiming reimbursement.
