She attained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in 1997 and 2004, respectively. In 2018, she became a Fellow of The Hong Kong Academy of Nursing in Education and Research and completed her Doctorate degree in Higher Education at The University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. Apart from 11 years of clinical working experience, she has also been working in the field of nursing education in local universities and private institutes since 2009. During her time in the private institutes, she was the Programme Leader of a Higher Diploma of Nursing (EN) programme and is the current Programme Leader of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme. Moreover, she is a thesis supervisor at Macau University of Science and Technology. She was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award in 2018 in recognition of her teaching skills.Dr. Wong earned a fellowship from The Hong Kong Academy of Nursing (HKAN) (Education and Research - Education) in 2017. She also has participated in various nursing and education community contexts, such as being a Council Member of the Young Fellow Chapter under the HKAN and the Hong Kong College of Education and Research in Nursing in Hong Kong. She has also started conducting studies since working in a public hospital. She received her first Outstanding Paper Award at a local scientific conference in 1999 as well as a Best Poster Award from an international conference in 2018.
