After completed both of his Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) and Master of Nursing, he obtained the Advanced Diploma in Orthopaedic and Traumatology and the Advanced Diploma in Nursing Leadership and Health Care Management.Mr. Lam worked as a registered nurse in the Department of Surgery, Medicine and Therapeutics, and Orthopaedics & Traumtology at the Prince of Wales Hospital. He was promoted as an advanced practice nurse working in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumtology at the Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital. He had the experience of working as a Deputy Ward Manager before entering Tung Wah College.Mr. Lam had the experience in coordinating courses and facilitating clinical learning for students. He was an advisor group member, visiting lecturer and department coordinator of Post Registration Advanced Certificate Course in Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He was also the Education Team Member of Hong Kong Association of Orthopaedic Nurses Limited.For classroom or laboratory teaching, Mr. Lam was the part-time lecturer or laboratory teacher of different nursing programmes or courses in various institutions including the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Hong Kong Metropolitan University, the Institute of Advanced Nursing Studies of the Hospital Authority, and the College of Nursing.
