Professional Prospects
Bachelor of Health Information and Services Management (Honours) is a ‘program member’ of the ‘Society for Health Administration Programs in Education’ (SHAPE) in the Asia Pacific Region.
 
Graduates and students of the programme are eligible for joining as ‘Associate’ member of the ‘Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives’ (HKCHSE).
 
Students and Graduates of the programme are eligible for joining as ‘Student’ member (free) and ‘Associate’ member respectively of the ‘Hong Kong College of Community Health Practitioners’ (HKCCHP).
 
Graduates can embark on careers in hospitals, healthcare facilities, NGOs, tertiary institutions and healthtech companies, taking on various job functions including but not limited to:
 
  • Data Coding and Analysis
  • Health Record Management
  • Health Information Management
  • Digital Health Management
  • Health Services Management
  • Project Management
Alternatively, graduates can progress to postgraduate programmes after they graduated.
