FAQ

What is CAPLE?
CAPLE is the short form of “Centre for Acdemic and Professional Language Enhancement”. Courses, seminars, workshops, and activities will be organized for TWC students.

Who can join the programmes?
All TWC students!

Are these programmes free of charge?
Most courses and activities at CAPLE are free, the only exception being English Enhancement Courses.

How do I know if I need to join the programmes?
We have different placement tests to assess your English standard.

How may I benefit from CAPLE?
Students can use consultation hours to speak to a language specialist who will be able to advise them on matters related to their English language needs. They may also join the social activities organised by the centre, as well as take an active approach in their learning by using the self-access centre and online programmes.

What’s the minimum time required to take part in the activities?
Students can use the resources and programmes offered by the centre to learn at their own pace, at any time convenient to them.
Remember, regular practice is the key to your success!
