Biography

Dickson Leung is a Senior Clinical Associate at the School of Nursing at Tung Wah College. With a background spanning both clinical and education, he brings a wealth of experience to his position.

Throughout his career, Dickson has worked in diverse medical settings, including medical and surgical wards, as well as the Accident & Emergency (A&E) department. These challenging environments have helped him develop the skills necessary to effectively support patients in emergency nursing — a field he is passionate about. His interest in prehospital and emergency care stems from his commitment to improving outcomes for patients in critical situations.

Beyond his clinical responsibilities, Dickson has served as a Civil Aid Service officer, where he provided prehospital-related training to team members. This role allowed him to share his expertise and support others in developing emergency response skills, thereby strengthening community preparedness.

Additionally, Dickson also has experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the cluster Quality and Safety office. In this role, he focused on incident management and quality improvement efforts aimed at enhancing healthcare services and ensuring patient safety. Through analyzing incidents and implementing quality measures, he aims to make meaningful contributions to healthcare practices within his organization.
