She obtained her Nursing Degree (Bsc) in 2007 and Higher Diploma (HD) of Nursing in 2005 from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.She started her nursing career in the Kwong Wah Hospital in November 2005, where she trained and developed as an operating theatre nurse, with duties as scrub nurse for all specialities, obstetric, vascular, breast, neurology, trauma, plastic, gynaecology and laparoscopic procedures. She also acted as the position of an assistant to Aanesthetists. She developed a significant interest in the special area of perioperative, anaesthetic support, and during the years indicated herself to complete the Post-registration Certificate Course (PRCC) in Perioperative Nursing. She met the requirements under the Recognition scheme of Specialty Nurses under the Hospital Authority and thus qualified as a Specialty Nurse in Perioperative Nursing by 2015.She moved to The Matilda International Hospital as an Operating theatre nurse with responsibilities in supporting Anaesthesia services in February 2015.She returned to serve under the Hospital Authority at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, to expand her horizons and skills. She undertook responsibilities as a scrub nurse and is entrusted with the support for Anaesthesia assistance, in the form of training and supervision of Operating Theatre Technicians (OTA), as well as ensuring quality of care in the perioperative environment. Her duties include the operation of Pre-anaesthesia assessment clinics, which makes a significant contribution to the improvement of patient care.
