Following graduation, she joined the Hospital Authority and worked as a registered nurse in the Department of Clinical Oncology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). She completed her Master of Science in Nursing in 2013 and finished specialized nurse training in Oncology in 2014. In 2015, she was promoted to Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) within the same department. From 2015 to 2017, she served as a Gynaecological Cancer Case Manager, overseeing the care of gynecological cancer patients throughout their treatment journey. Between 2017 and 2021, Ms. Maggie managed the Clinical Oncology Nurse Clinic (chemotherapy) and later established the Integrated Model of the Specialist Outpatient Service (Systemic Anticancer Therapy) Nurse Clinic in 2021. Ensuring high nursing standards and delivering evidence-based care has been a core focus of her role at QEH. As an APN, she developed and reviewed nursing protocols and guidelines and also organized patient education and rehabilitation programs.Beyond her clinical responsibilities in Oncology, she participated in specialty nurse training, collaborating with colleagues from various clusters to organize the Advanced Specialty Program and Post-registration Certificate Course (PRCC) in Oncology Nursing. In 2022, she stepped outside her comfort zone by joining the School of Nursing at Grantham Hospital, where she gained experience as a clinical preceptor, lecturer, and assessor for clinical practical exams.In 2023, Ms. Maggie joined St. Paul’s Hospital to further broaden her nursing experience. She worked as a Nurse Specialist/Nursing Officer in the newly established Oncology Day Centre.
