Mr. Raymond Chan graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and completed his Master’s Degree in Applied Management (Nursing) at The University of Newcastle, Australia. He gained much experience from different settings in the nursing industry. Apart being a Speciality Nurse in Hospital Authority, he was a Senior Programme Manager at The Open University of Hong Kong, and an Honorary Clinical Nursing Instructor for different universities, including The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and The Open University of Hong Kong. In addition, he also participated in nursing education on a part-time basis in different institutes, such as HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE), School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CUSCS) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Open University of Hong Kong, as well as the Auxiliary Medical Service and the Hong Kong Employee Retraining Board too.

 

Mr. Chan has been striving to nurture students’ personal development and career advancement in the health care industry, and has picked up his teaching role to teach the courses related to health care and nursing in Tung Wah College since 2016.
