CAPLE is going to organise the following workshop for all students at Tung Wah College.
Details are as follows: Workshop on “Taste of the Japanese Language and Culture”
(日本語と日本文化体験ワークショップ)

Time: 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Medium of Instruction: English / Japanese
During the workshop, you will learn:
◆ Japanese Alphabet (Hiragana & Katakana 平仮名, 片仮名)
◆ Basic daily greetings and self-introduction
◆ Differences between Japanese and Chinese ‘kanji’
◆ Daily life etiquette and social manner
About the Speaker
Dr. Hitoshi MURAKAMI (村上仁博士) has been teaching courses on the Japanese language, culture and society at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Community College of City University, and UOW College Hong Kong for nearly 30 years. He is
currently an Assistant Professor at UOW College Hong Kong and is serving as the Programme Leader of BA (Hons) in Japanese Studies. At present, Dr. MURAKAMI is the Vice President at the Society of Japanese Language Education Hong Kong (香港日本語教育研究会).
