About ARH

Welcome to the School of Arts and Humanities at Tung Wah College. The Arts and Humanities encourage us to reflect and explore meanings, values, cultures, and ethics of human experiences, helping us to be active and passionate citizens in our communities. The mission of the School is to widen students’ horizons and self-understanding, enhance their academic and practical knowledge of arts and humanities, and equip them with the essential skills to embrace life challenges and adversities, meet the ever-changing needs and industrial trends of the society, and pave a pathway for a remarkable career.

The School of Arts and Humanities is one of the four academic Schools at Tung Wah College, and currently supports excellence across six disciplines: Education, Psychology, Applied Gerontology, Health Studies, Languages, and the General Education units. We offer a unique, interdisciplinary, and accommodating learning environment, and are dedicated to facilitate students excelling in their studies while enjoying their experiential and deep learning experience. Working individually and collaboratively, we continue to develop innovative methods of teaching and enquiry within and across disciplines. The School of ARH also provides a unique environment for interinstitutional and interdisciplinary collaborations across academics, practitioners, and students in all aspects of innovative teaching, translational research, discipline-related internship, and industrial partnerships.
