National Security Education

 

National Security Law to HKSAR

  • All degree and sub-degree full-time students admitted in or after AY2022/2023 are required to study an online National Security Education (NSE) learning pack and attain a passing mark of 50% or above in a related online quiz before graduation.
  • The NSE learning pack contains four modules:

Module 1: National Security, the legal foundation and rationale of the National Security Law to HKSAR
Module 2: The main content of the National Security Law to HKSAR
Module 3: Implementation of the National Security Law to HKSAR and its effects
Module 4: Questions & Answers on National Security Law legislation and more videos about National Security

  • Students can login to the TWC Blackboard System for accessing the NSE learning materials and complete the online quiz.

  • By taking these GE courses, students are able to understand different aspects of national security, such as ecological security, economic security, cultural security and cybersecurity, which are integral to the national security framework.
