Patrick Yau is a dedicated social work professional and educator with nearly three decades of experience in the field. His journey began in 1996, working across various social service sectors including disability services, mental health rehabilitation, and youth drug abuser training. Throughout his career, he has held significant leadership roles, such as Centre Director and Service Manager, where he specialized in setting up pilot services and managing multi-professional teams. Since 2016, he has transitioned into academia, serving as a Lecturer and Fieldwork Coordinator at several esteemed institutions in Hong Kong, where he focuses on bridging theoretical social work concepts with practical field application.
