Biography
Professor Tang graduated from the University of Hong Kong with the degrees of MB, BS, and PhD. He worked as a general practitioner for about 25 years in Hong Kong and Singapore before becoming a full-time teacher at the University of Hong Kong. Professor Tang has also taught at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, University of Macau and the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of CUHK, HKU SPACE and Centennial College. Professor Tang was the Vice President (Academic) at Hong Kong Chu Hai College and retired in January, 2023. Professor Tang has kindly agreed to serve as an Honorary Professor for the School of Arts and Humanities at Tung Wah College; he will continue providing expert advice and comments on the language courses offered by the Centre for Academic and Professional Language Enhancement.
