The appointee will be required but not limited to:
- perform teaching in General Education (GE) subjects in areas related to arts and humanities, civic education, and moral values.
- contribute to the continuous development of the GE Curriculum that meets the College and School’s strategic initiatives and development;
- take up responsibilities in academic administration, including the online learning platforms under the GE Curriculum;
- participate in managing the academic affairs including programme development and validation exercises;
- participate in promoting innovative teaching, collaborative and pedagogical research;
- engage in research and scholarly activities in accordance to the workload requirements of the College; and
- perform academic activities including academic advising, examination and assessment, student recruitment, committee works, whole person development activities of students.
The appointee should have:
- a Master degree in a relevant discipline with sufficient years of relevant experience in teaching in the tertiary education sector or possess a PhD degree / Professional Doctorate in a relevant discipline.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
